sigh

I am worn out!! I have been working my ass of late. I have been doing a ton of overtime to make some extra money and get by. Doesn't help that this month just sucked money wise. I was paying bills, and trying to get ahead. Then things happened and I wouldn up having to give out all of the surplus money that I have been saving. Sigh! It's all good, I think. I am still trying to find out how I am supposed to renew my car registration that is due by the end of this month.

I had spent my car money on my eye. I had hurt it pretty bad last week and needed to go see a doctor and buy medicine for my eye. Yes, I know poor me right? Not the case. I basically have nothing else to write about today. Doesn't make for a good read I know.

is it worth it?

I have been on this online date/friend finder site for almost a month now and have met one person for sex. Which is all I really want anyway. Not looking for a long term relationship at this point in the game. If one came along I wouldn't be against it.

I wonder if its worth it to join these sites? I mean I think everyone is that joins these things are pretty hardcore at first and then they have scoured every profile of a potential mate with 250 miles of them. In that scouring they may come across a couple hundred profiles at the least and send a message to maybe 10% of them. Of that 10% they may get a handful of responses back but nothing more. They log in a few times a day to see if they have any of these possible handful of responses. A total waste of time. Not enough people join these things so you look at the same profile day in and day out.

So basically my my enthusiasm has waned in the last week or so. I have had some unsolicited messages from women but not sure of anything will materailize from it. I have a thing with distance and so do most other people. It's understandable but tough since I am in the boonies. Wish me luck. I am off to go see if I have any messages and look at boobies.

Well, I have been sick for the last few days and decided to take the day off of work today. I should have taken yesterday off. I am feeling much better now but will be good to go for this weekend when I get my son. I am kind of planning for a busy weekend. I am going to go to a lacrosse game on Saturday if the weather holds out. Then maybe head up to a store about 90 minutes or so from here and buy my son some hiking boots and maybe a good backpacking pack. Maybe a trip to Ikea since I am in the neighborhood. Plus, trip to a Chuck E. Cheese.

Other than that nothing much has been going on. I have been talking with the woman I was with a 2 weeks ago. I have just been busy with work and being sick have slowed down another meeting. I had a comment on the use of condoms. Rest assured I used a condom. I love my life and sex enough to use protection. Hell, I used to be a sailor and have yet to get an STD. Not saying it can't happen but if you are responsible enough to take the precautions to enjoy an active sex life in this day and age, then it won't happen. Or less likely to happen.

So basically nothing is new. I am enjoying my life and taking it one day at a time...Call Mr. Cliche.
